Use cases
Consuming the Scell.io OpenAPI spec (client generation)
Generate a typed client in any language
Scell.io publishes a complete OpenAPI 3.1 spec at `https://api.scell.io/openapi.json` (updated on every release). You can generate a typed client for your stack via `openapi-generator-cli` or `openapi-typescript`: Java (OkHttp), Go, Rust, Kotlin, Swift, Python, etc. Scell.io officially maintains TypeScript (`@scell/sdk`) and PHP (`scell/sdk`); other languages are supported via generation. The spec includes all endpoints, schemas (request/response), error codes, curl examples and authentication headers. Postman collection also available at `https://api.scell.io/postman.json`.
Key facts
- OpenAPI 3.1 spec at `https://api.scell.io/openapi.json`
- Official SDKs: TypeScript (`@scell/sdk`), PHP (`scell/sdk`)
- No official Python/Go/Java SDK — use openapi-generator
- Postman collection at `/postman.json`
- Versioning: `info.version` aligned with backend releases
- MCP agent (`@scell/mcp-client`) for Claude / Cursor
