Electronic signature types (SES, AdES, QES)
The 3 eIDAS signature levels
The eIDAS regulation defines 3 levels: SES (Simple Electronic Signature, base), AdES (Advanced, intermediate with strong signer-document link), QES (Qualified, legal equivalent of handwritten, required for notarial acts). Scell.io currently exposes SES through our eIDAS-certified signature partner (BulkGate for SMS / SuperPDP for invoices). QES via partners.
